Let him declare and set it before me, since I oppointed an ancient people. Let them declare what is to come, and what will happen.”

Isaiah 44:6,7

In order for a person to fully understand the return of Christ, they must first believe that there is a God and He is in complete control of this world. So the question that we must first answer is, “Who is God?” Honestly, if all of us had a nickel for every time this question was either verbally asked or pondered in the heart of man each of us would be very well off by now. Today we will examine the facts/evidence that affirm the fact that God is real and that He is exactly Who the Bible declares Him to be.

There is a plethora of verifiable evidence that suggest to us that God is real, however we will only focus in on four key points. They are as follows: (1) the complexities of creation underscore that the universe was created by a Higher Power, (2) we have the written account of His existence given to us by God Himself (Holy Bible), (3) the presence of the Ancient People in the world (the Jews). (4) the life of the Son of God (Jesus Christ)

1. The Complexities of Creation: Scientists say that there are over two trillion galaxies in the universe. Truth be told, they really don’t know how many galaxies that there are, all that they know is there is an innumerable amount.But by them giving us a number that we almost can’t comprehend, is another way of saying that the number of galaxies is beyond the scope of human reasoning. Instead of saying, “We simply don’t know how many galaxies there are” they feel compelled to cite an incomprehensible number that men will accept to be true.

So, in order for us to get a better understanding about how vast the universe must be, let’s consider the size of our own galaxy, the Milky Way. The size of our galaxy is said to be about 100,000 lights years from one end to the other. Meaning we would have to travel at the speed of light (186,000 mi/sec) for 100,000 years to travel from one end of our galaxy to the other. That’s not even humanly possible because first of all the average age for a human being is only 80 years.Secondly we don’t have anything that can remotely travel at the speed of light. Therefore it would be safe to say that whoever the Architect of the universe is has power and authority that we know not of.

1. Written Evidence: In the world in which we live we look for tangible evidence to assert the validity of something. If you get hired for a job they usually ask you for your official id that validates that you are the person that you say you are. The Bible is written proof that serves as God’s id that declares Him to be exactly Who He says He is. Although the Bible predates the existence of man, the oldest tangible evidence that we have at our deposal are the Dead Sea scrolls that date back to about 400 BC (Before Christ) and extends to about 300 AD (Anno Domini). This remarkable discovery of the written text sent a shockwave around the world to further intimate the reality of God.
2. Ancient People: The Bible refers to the “Ancient People” as the Jewish Nation. The Nation of Israel is considered to be the apple of God’s eye. They are the only nation on earth that was directly called into existence to represent God in the earth. Read their history and you will see the handprint of God throughout their existence. This piece of evidence defies the notion that God is just a figment of our imagination. These are real, living, breathing people that owe their existence as a nation to the Living God. This is living proof that God is real.
3. Son of God: This is the most important piece of evidence, however it is also the most controversial. Although most religions in the world acknowledge the life of Jesus, but they only see Him as a very wise Jewish preacher of prophet. Many in the world perceive the notion of Jesus Christ being the Savior of the world as a complete hoax. We pray for them because the devil has successfully blinded their minds from knowing that Jesus Christ is indeed the promised Messiah. The scriptures speak of the coming Messiah thousands of years before it actually came to pass. The Bible even gives us specific details as to where and how the Messiah would be born. Only God can tell what is to be before it actually happens. The Bible also stated that Christ would be rejected by all men and that He would suffer from the death of the Cross and how He would rise again.

Our embrace of who Jesus is does not evolve around any falsehoods that the devil has made up to support his agenda. The devil has been trying to inject lies into the atmosphere about Christ every since Jesus miraculously rose from the dead. However the Faith that we have in Jesus being the Son of God is based upon thousands of years of prophecy.

Maybe if unbelievers all over the world would just take a moment to consider and ask themselves the question, “Why would I even question the existence of God our Creator?” “Who or what has influenced me not to believe in the reality of God?”

It’s tantamount to a grown child deciding one day to question their parents about who his/her “real parents” are. The first question that the parents would have to ask is why are you inquiring about this now and furthermore, who told you that we were not your “real parents.” It’s like the account the bible gives us in the book of Genesis chapter 3:10. Adam had erred in the garden of Eden by eating the forbidden fruit. When God came looking for Adam He said, “Adam where art thou?” Adam replied, “I heard Thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” God said, “Who told thee that thou was naked?”  

You see, it goes against the very grain of human rationale to question or fear the source of our existence. Just like it’s crazy for a grown child to question the validity of his birth parents without a legitimate reason, it’s just as absurd for mankind to question the reality of God.

If mankind were eternal beings, then and only then would we be justified in questioning the existence of God. If we could say that we were personally there and we did not witness Him creating the universe then our unbelief would be justifiable. But that would also suggest that we would be omniscient because there would be nothing unknown to us. As eternal beings we would have been present to witness everything that was to be, all that there is and what there is to come. We would already be knowledgeable of all things and you don’t question what you already know.

So since mankind is NOT an eternal being and we are NOT omniscient (all-knowing) and we really don’t know if God exists or not, then we must look to the Source of our life to provide the answers that we need to the questions that aimlessly seem to muse in our hearts.

That’s why as a believer it somewhat saddens me to hear people mock the existence of God. The Bible says that it is because of His mercies we are not consumed. God watches over of us everyday and yet some people take it for granted. They don’t realize that mankind has a real enemy that has one agenda, “To steal, to kill and to destroy.” The essence of the matter is the devil hates all of us because we were created by God and the devil hates God.

Our hearts weep and we are praying for all those that have been affected by the mass murders here in the States and abroad. Mass murders have our attention right now because they seem to be increasing and it reveals the pure evil that exists in our world. But if you consider all of the violence that occurs every day around the globe, it almost leaves you speechless. The alarming part about it is it continues to increase and intensify with every passing day. Sometimes we reframe from even turning on the news because we don’t want to hear about all the crime that’s happening in the world.

The crime and violence that occurs domestically is pretty bad, but it’s the threat of nations going against nations with the increasing talk of nuclear war that could devastate human life as we know it. This is what should be getting your attention.

How long? How long do you think mankind can endure this? Not too much longer. The Bible speaks on this matter and it says unless Christ returns soon, no flesh shall be saved.

This is how we know that the battle of Armageddon is upon us. The Bible foretells of a time where all nations will gather in the area of the Euphrates River to battle. This will be World War III. For all Christians you know what the number three represents, “Divine Manifestation.” God is going to show up and fight in this battle. It will be a battle over who is the rightful owner of the city of God, Jerusalem. Notice how there is constant bickering now over who owns Jerusalem in the news cycle.

Did you know that there is already a small contingency that are gathered now in the area of the Euphrates River? The U.S., Russia, Syria and the Syrian rebels are stationed there now. In fact, there was skirmish a couple of weeks ago that resulted in the U.S. military having to kill about 100 Syrian soldiers and a small number of Russian soldiers. I learned about it through a smaller news outlet so when I didn’t hear about it in the mainstream news source I refrained from discussing it per I thought it may have been fake news and I didn’t want to spread any untruths. Then about a week after I initially heard about it from the smaller news outlet, it finally started surfacing on some of the mainstream media sources. However they only reported on it once or twice and then it disappeared like it wasn’t that significant. I couldn’t believe it. I came to the conclusion that this world is not going to do anything to alert mankind that Christ is soon to return. Why, because the god of this world is trying everything within his power to try and obscure it for as long as he can.

Tensions among the nations of the world are at an all time high. Domestic violence is peaking. Men have become lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.

However, on the positive side the nation of Israel is getting stronger and stronger. The gospel of Jesus Christ has successfully been spread around the globe. And lastly, Christianity is alive and well as the leading religion in the world.

This year Israel will celebrate 70 years since they re-entered into statehood and was recognized as a sovereign nation by the United Nations. However for some reason the nations of the world did not recognize the city of Jerusalem as their capitol city although this city has been the capital of Israel for thousands of years. The nations of the world have built their embassies in Tel Aviv. However the USA, the leader of the free world announced that they will now recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and we will be moving our embassy there. The announcement was made in November 2017 and said it will take a couple of years to build a new US embassy in Jerusalem, but we remain committed to doing so.

When the Arab world learned of this they went crazy. Palestine has been attacking Israel every since, but no major offensive attacks.

Today I learned that the USA will be opening our embassy on May 14, 2018 to celebrate Jerusalem Day instead of two years from now as what originally was reported. This is amazing news! However, this will infuriate the Arab world. Get ready…..the End Time saga is about to commence.
