“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords." Revelations 19:16
The King is coming! The King is coming! Let all the people rejoice for the King is coming!
People I am not trying to emotionally excite you with some false hopes of Jesus Christ’s return just to solicit your financial support for this ministry. Nor am I trying to build the conversation about the return of the Lord in efforts to market a book that I may have written on the subject matter. I would never belittle the enormity of this message by seeking for ways on how I could personally profit from the return of Christ. The stakes are too high. As Christians, we have the keys to eternal life. In other words we have been entrusted with the knowledge that will determine whether a person is going to spend eternity in heaven or hell. I dare not put a monetary value on that.
I have been separated by God to declare the message that Jesus is soon to return. I didn’t go to seminary or a bible college to learn what the scriptures reveal. Although I consider myself an okay writer, I certainly am not a theologian. Neither have I done an in depth study of eschatology, which is the doctrine that deals with end time events on planet earth. But, when I write these blogs/articles it’s like someone is actually telling me what to write and I have a supernatural confidence that the end times are going to go down just like the bible declares. It is such a euphoric experience.
In the spiritual realm, I do not claim to own the revelation knowledge that reveals the content contained in these blogs, therefore I would be remiss to try and profit from it. Freely I have received, so freely I give. Plus, my heavenly Employer has already informed me that He is going to compensate me in a very special way, not to be compared to the fleeting riches of this world. The bible instructs me that a crown of righteousness has been laid up for me, as a result of my labors.
Sad to say, but many of our leaders in the Church have been crippled by the lure of this world’s riches. And as result, it has become increasingly challenging to get those in the world to hear our message because the spirit of error has gradually crept into the Church and has gotten some of us off course.
Although the god of this world is ultimately responsible for those in the world that will not listen to the voice of God, unfortunately some in the Church have not helped matters any with their lukewarm behavior. In fact, Jesus warned us that a little leaven leavens the whole lump.
The Church should be sending one message, “The King is coming!” Notice how the evangelistic fire that once burned fervently in our churches doesn’t burn as bright as it once did. The devil has successfully diverted the attention of some in the Church to be more interested in temporal things than in the eternal.
Sometimes it is hard for me to acknowledge the times in which we live and my soul becomes a little heavy, but then my heart rejoices whenever I recall what the bible says about this time. Luke 21:28 says, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
Believe it or not, the peril that the world is in right now does not surprise God. He knew when Adam committed the original sin in the Garden of Eden that this would be the end result. The gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ redeems the soul of man, but this life in which we now live in the flesh is condemned already. God judged the flesh when Adam sinned. He said in the day that you eat of the forbidden fruit you will surely die. This life has already been judged and God is trying to give everyone the opportunity to avoid eternal separation from God before the judgment is enacted.
For over two thousand years the Church has successfully carried out the mandate that Christ gave unto us before He ascended into heaven. We have had such a laser focus on upholding the blood stain banner of Jesus Christ that many have given their lives for the Faith.
However for the last 40-50 years there has been a gradual decline in the effectiveness of the Church. I know it’s hard for the believer to digest this, but would you believe that God designed it to happen just like it’s happening. Why, because the purpose of the Church has just about been accomplished and the time for Christ to return to complete the work that He began is quickly approaching.
The Jews understood that when the promised Messiah comes He is going to establish His kingdom on earth. That’s why the disciples and followers of Jesus Christ were somewhat baffled when He died on the Cross because they had embraced Jesus as the promised Messiah. They didn’t see the death of Christ coming. However, the death of Jesus Christ allowed for the commencement of the Church Age. This was done to give all men, both Jews and Gentiles, the opportunity to receive eternal life.
The Church Age or the Age of Grace was a mystery that God had hid from man. You see, before Jesus Christ came into the world, only the people of Jewish descent were inclined to believe in the Living God. Since God is a just God, He couldn’t allow this to be the conclusion of the whole matter. God had to open the coffers of His grace to all of mankind. But this did not negate the promise that God made to the Jews that the Messiah (Christ) would come to establish His kingdom on earth. This promise has to be fully realized to show the world that God is the God of the whole earth. And also to affirm the fact that good truncates evil, God defeats the devil.
I realize the fact that many people in the world do not believe that God is real, neither do they believe Jesus is the Son of God. Unless God opens the eyes of their understanding they will not believe. I am confident in that and I wouldn’t do anything to insult their intellectual reasoning. But theoretically speaking, let’s just say that I had in my possession a functioning time machine that enabled me to travel back in time when the Roman Empire was flourishing and they considered themselves to be superior to all other nations of the world because of their wealth, knowledge and military strength.
Imagine if I was able to have a conversation with the Caesar of that day and I was able to share with him some of the technological advances that are coming his way. First I would let him know that the day is coming where they will no longer have to light torches or burn candles to provide light to a room. However you will be able to encapsulate fire to form something called electricity, which will allow you to provide light not only to the entire palace, but for the whole city, without lighting a torch or candle.
And in regards to the way you access water, you can do away with your sophisticated aqueduct system and pools of water. There will be something called plumbing that will give you and every other Roman citizen immediate access to clean drinking water.
In regards to communications, you no longer will have to summons for one of your governors to come and discuss Roman affairs with you in person, but there will be something called a cell phone that each person will have at their side. Instead of having to physically meet with them in person all you will have to do is pick up this hand held device and it will allow you to speak with the governor directly.
I know all of this is mind boggling, but allow me to tell you about one of our most profound technological advancements that we are most proud of, it is called the internet. I can’t begin to share with you everything that the internet allows us to do, but it will enable you to communicate with people around the globe in a matter of seconds.
We have learned that there is power in the air that can’t be seen with the natural eye. In other words, it’s invisible. We call this power “radio frequencies” and it has literally revolutionized our way of life.
Can you imagine what Caesar would think of me? He probably would have me killed for wasting his time with all these “lies.” But they are not “lies” everything I told him was truth. It would be so farfetched from his reality that he would probably perceive them as lies.
Allow me to repeat that last statement and you tell me how you think Caesar would respond, “We have discovered that there is power in the air that can’t be seen with the natural eye?” Seriously?
And then some want to question the existence of God because they can’t see Him? Every time that they listen to the radio, watch TV, make a cell phone call or use WiFi service to access the internet they ought to fall under conviction if they do not believe in God.
My friend, please know that God is real. God is sending His Son back to the earth to claim what is rightfully His real soon. The notion that there is a Supernatural Being that exists right now in a place called heaven and He is coming to the earth to establish His kingdom seems somewhat farfetched from our reality. But hear me real good, it’s truth.
Please know that the remarks I previously made in this blog were not purposely made to embarrass or bash the Church of which I am a proud member. I was simply trying to draw their attention to the areas of deficiency that the enemy has attacked us in. God has instructed me and all ministers of the gospel to remind His people of what His word says. Therefore I am admonishing believers everywhere to remain sober and vigilant for the devil desires to sift us as wheat.
We are right here at the threshold of eternity, all we have to do is stay the course. I want to hear the Lord say, “Well done!”
Please share this message with your friends, loved ones. Church members, Church leaders and all that you think need to hear it. The return of Christ is an absolute. The timing of His return is more fluid, but we can know when His return is getting near by the conditions of the world, also known as the sign of the times. God bless you!
